In our latest Brexit blog (see here), we mentioned that as part of the broader project for the development of the Capital Markets Union to 2019, the European Commission has mandated KPMG to provide a comprehensive study on how the “Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive” (AIFMD) has worked in practice and to what extent its objectives have been met.
