.......The end of the AIFMD transition period on 22 July 2014.....

The European Union Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive came into force across the EU on 22 July 2013. Existing managers of Alternative Investemnt Funds had a one year transition period to become authorised. This period expired today, 22nd July 2014.
